- Recruits shall conduct themselves in a military manner, so as to bring credit to themselves, their Recruit Division, their training command, the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, and the Navy.
- Recruits shall wear the Navy’s uniform with pride, and in accordance with all NSCC uniform regulations.
- Recruits shall put forth their maximum effort at all times and in all tasks.
- Recruits shall put their Division before themselves.
- Recruits shall not threaten or attempt bodily harm to any other person.
- Recruits shall not lie, cheat, or steal.
- Recruits shall not prejudge, discriminate, bully, haze, or harass.
- Recruits shall not use racial or ethnic epithets; or vulgar, obscene, or profane language.
- Recruits shall not solicit, collect, or distribute money.
- Recruits shall not vandalize, damage, or destroy NSCC, US Government, or private property.
- Recruits shall not fraternize with each other or with staff.
- Recruits shall not possess or use alcohol, tobacco, or drugs of any kind.
- Recruits shall not tolerate those who violate these rules, and shall report violations of the Code of Conduct to the chain of command.
